Hello everyone, this blog about presentation Phranakhon Sri Ayutthaya or Ayutthaya province, Thailand. Ayutthaya is a province most population in Thailand and have perfectly tourism.

History

Ayutthaya was the former capital of Thailand. There is evidence of a town in the lowland the Chao Phraya River since around Buddhist century 16-18 by the traces of the ancient town antiquities and stories of the legend of events. Geography

Products

-Palm Leaf Fish Moblie weavers of the palm leaf fish mobile, and other palm leaf products, in this province are thai muslims. The skills have been inherited for over 100 years. It is assumed that Thai Muslim spice traders who sailed their houseboats along the Chao Phraya River in the olden days were the first to have woven fish moblies from plam leaf.


- Roti Sai Mai a snack composing of candyfloss(Sai Mai) wrapped with flat bread (Roti) was thought up by Thai Muslim vendors.

- Palm Leaf Hat a handicraft that has been inherited since ancient times. Weaving a palm leaf hat requires no less craftsmanship than any other kinds of basketwork.

- Bamboo Fan weaving in Amphoe ban Phraek, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya has been inherited from the olden day. Formerly, the fans were woven with a quite simple technique into a rough design. The border was usually trimmed and sewn by hand with plain white cloth.  

Famous Temples


Wat Mahathat (Temple of the Great Relics) is located almost right in the center of Ayutthaya. Apart from being the symbolic center where the Buddha's relics were enshrined, Wat Mahathat was also the residence of the Supreme Patriarch or leader of the Thai Buddhist monks. The temple is believed to be bulit during the 14th century A.D.(the early Ayutthaya period).

Wat Suwan Dararam



The Viharn at Wat Suwan Dararam, Ayutthaya. The Viharn contains the famous painting depicting King Naresuan at battle with the Burmese.
